Countryside Inn Suite Card Tutorial

July 4, 2023 3 min read

Today I will preview one of the new suites featured in the upcoming 23-24 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog: Countryside Inn Suite. I love all the beautiful shades of blue and little animals in the matching Designer Series Paper (DSP)! Click here to watch the video of the card tutorial. Scroll down for measurements and a list of supplies used in the card tutorial. (Links have been added for new products.)

I like this card because it reminds me of a place setting. The Countryside Corners stamps and dies on the white cardstock looks like a placemat to me with the cup of tea above it.

Countryside Suite Card

The Countryside Inn Suite includes four items: Countryside Inn 12×12 Designer Series Paper, Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder, and the Countryside Corners Bundle which includes the Countryside Corners stamp set and the matching Countryside Corners dies.

The colors used in the Designer Series Paper include Boho Blue, Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, and Night of Navy.

Measurements for Card Tutorial

The thick Basic White card base (one 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch piece of cardstock) is folded in half at the 4 1/4 inch mark.

The Night of Navy layer (and the basic white layer inside) are both 5 1/4 x 4 inches.

Use the 2 3/8 circle punch to make two circles using the same DSP paper – the one with rabbits on one side).

Use another quarter sheet of basic white cardstock for the countryside corner stamp.

Use a scrap of basic white cardstock for the thank you stamp and die.

You will need at least 2 x 2 1/2 inch pieces of the floral DSP to die-cut the teacup.
