I was exploring one day with the Art Gallery set by Stampin’ Up! when I made a mistake, or should I say “Happy Accident?” So I set it aside for a couple of days. Then I came back to it, I was able to finish it. It turned out to be one of my favorites! Here is the finished card, which I really love!

How the Happy Accident Happened
The happy accident came when I was stamping the bottom layer with flowers. I had the petal pink stampin spot and somehow I dropped it and the edge of it hit the basic white cardstock. I thought oh man how will I cover that up? So then I took the edge of the ink pad and kept touching it to the background. I kind of liked the pattern, so I continued it all over that layer, eventually adding more marks with balmy blue Stampin’ Spot. I also stamped on the flowers, deciding it could be like a spring rain.
In the end there was a section I definitely didn’t like, but I covered that with the stitched circle dies from the Stylish Shapes dies! Yay, stamping can be so forgiving, there usually is a work-around if you think about it!
